Bio

Amittosh is an experienced professional and has over 5 years of experience in the field of Decentralized Renewable Energy (DRE). Over the years, he has worked on various projects aimed at improving energy access and promoting the use of sustainable and efficient energy technologies in rural and remote areas of India. He has led projects on developing DRE enabled Integrated development and energy access plan for the 5 border villages of South West Garo Hills in Meghalaya under the Vibrant Villages Program of the Government of India and for the Mon district of Nagaland with the support of District Administration.

In his previous role, he also established an industry-academia partnership collaborating with Rural Technology Action Group (RuTAG) of 6 IITs for technology transfer and knowledge support to the DRE practitioners. He has also authored several reports on the state of the DRE sector in India.
