Shashi Verma (Chief Technology Officer, Transport for London) on London’s growth history around its transport, and how transport planning can enhance urban growth and productivity through sustainable development. Shashi orchestrated the transformation of London's well-known mobility system. During his early days at TfL, he established the corporate finance team and led the development of Crossrail, a 16-billion-pound project to build the next railway line in London.
