Scaling Landscape Restoration in Maharashtra
WRI India and Transform Rural India (TRI), in collaboration with the MGNREGS Commissionerate, Maharashtra, organized “The Restoration Policy Dialogues for Climate and Communities” in Nagpur. The event brought together key stakeholders to discuss potential solutions to challenges in landscape restoration in the state. Discussions emphasized the potential of bamboo for sustainable livelihoods, the role of natural resource management under MGNREGS in driving restoration, and the need for collaboration between government departments and CSOs to scale sustainable landscape restoration.
