The Status of Mini-grids in Rural India

The proceedings summarize the reflections of stakeholders from a round-table dialogue on mini-grid implementation, that was organized by WRI India and Transform Rural India Foundation (TRIF), in Jharkhand in May 2022.

The dialogue included discussions on the economic sustainability of mini-grids, the integration of productive-use-of-energy (PUE) applications for enhanced mini-grid utilization, policy support and financial requirements for scaling, and frameworks for measuring the ground-level impacts of mini-grids.
