India Just Transition Summit: Navigating a people-centered low carbon transition in India
The India Just Transition Summit organized by WRI India, along with Just Transition Research Centre, IIT Kanpur, is a conference and research symposium that brings together thought-leaders, policymakers, experts, researchers, civil society, and community representatives to deliberate upon the key just transition risks and opportunities as India charts its energy transition. The Summit aims to create a platform to elevate the voices of those most vulnerable to the transition and advance the collective thinking around scalable solutions and interventions needed to ensure people-centered, inclusive, and equitable low-carbon growth for India.
