Program Associate - Hydrogen

Bio

Yashaswini is a Program Associate - Hydrogen at WRI India in Sustainable Cities and Transport Program and is based out of Bangalore. Currently, she is working on developing a guiding framework to identify potential locations of hydrogen hub across India.

Prior to joining WRI, she has worked in ExxonMobil as a surveillance engineer recommending data-driven strategies to reduce emissions and increase process efficiency. Additionally, she has worked with Climate Collective, a climate non-profit, where she helped build climate impact assessment tools for early-stage startups. She also worked as a Data and Research Lead at Kuviraa, increasing political engagement among young girls in India.

She completed her Integrated M.Tech and B.Tech degree in Chemical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur. She is an avid reader, particularly interested in gender studies and psychology. She also writes poetry and enjoys solving jigsaw puzzles.
