The Land Accelerator South Asia 2021 | Sales and Marketing Strategies To Grow Your Startup

Marketing strategy is not only to put the startup and its products on a path to success, but also to guide the sales team. To create and implement a marketing strategy, you need to engage a marketing strategist who understands startups and your particular vertical and is experienced in both Sales and Marketing.

A marketing strategist’s role is not just to drive strategy but also to ensure the startup stays on message. Before a product is even developed, the marketing strategist and management team should be answering two questions:

  • Is there an unmet need that we can fill?
  • How can we meet this need in a way that buyers will support us?

While marketing strategy focuses on increasing your visibility, a well-defined sales strategy helps you make real quantifiable profits. A good sales strategy needs to address three important components:

  • How will you acquire new customers?
  • How will you expand/strengthen existing relationships with customers?
  • How will you sell more products and services?

This webinar helps you identify the need for a clear marketing and sales strategy along with what can be the best possible options for startups to adopt, focussing on being lean with limited resources.
