MUMBAI, INDIA (November 30, 2015) — The U.N. Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) will host its 21st annual Conference of the Parties (COP21) from 30 November to 11 December in Paris, France. Negotiators from nearly 200 countries will convene to likely agree on the first-ever universal climate agreement. This anticipated new climate agreement sets the stage for a new form of international cooperation to accelerate the transition to clean, resilient economy globally.

Throughout the next two weeks, WRI India experts will offer timely commentary and insights from the negotiating halls on major developments at the climate negotiations in Paris empowered with research, data modeling tools, collaborative platforms and on-ground capabilities.
