Unlock Bengaluru 2017

WRI India Ross Center presents Unlock Bengaluru, a dialogue on sustainable development in the city. We will share learnings from our engagement in Bengaluru and other cities across the country and seek feedback on ideas to address equity, avoid unsustainable lock-ins and initiate transformative change.

Over the last several years, WRI India has been working in Bengaluru with several key stakeholders from government departments, academic institutions, civil society, and independent experts, assisting in making informed decisions on land-use and infrastructure, including transport and energy, that typically have a 40-100 year lock-in effect. WRI India aims to use technical guidance, cutting-edge research, and on-ground partnerships to design solutions that enable sustainable city growth.
