Program Communications Manager

Bio

Steffi Olickal is a Program Communications Manager with the Climate Program at India where she provides strategic communications support to the team. She also handles the editorial and review process for opinion pieces and blogs apart from creating social media posts and managing overall program outreach.

Before joining WRI India, Steffi worked as an editor at Cactus Communications, where she focused on refining research manuscripts centered around environment, energy, and sustainability. She also worked at Woven Fabric Company, where she looked after content creation and social media management for the organization. At WWF-India, she worked with a de-notified, nomadic tribe in Madhya Pradesh on sustainable livelihoods.

Steffi completed her M.Sc. in Anthropology and Development from the London School of Economics and Political Science and M.Sc. in Natural Resources Management from TERI School of Advanced Sciences. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences from St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai.

In her spare time, she enjoys travelling, watching TV shows/movies and spending time with her family and pet dog.
