Senior Program Manager – Industrial Decarbonization

NGR Kartheek is a thermal engineer with over 11 years of experience in industrial decarbonization across various sectors, including cement, steel, pharmaceuticals, textiles, aluminum, and fertilizers. His work has primarily focused on developing roadmaps to decarbonize industries using alternative fuels, Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Storage (CCUS), renewable energy (RE), and energy-efficient systems. He has also designed, simulated, and selected thermal systems for heating and cooling solutions, including radiant cooling, evaporative cooling, heat pumps, and solar thermal systems.
Prior to joining WRI India, he worked with Deloitte, CEEW, and Armstrong International, Oorja Energy, A.T.E., and IRCC(IITB) contributing to decarbonization roadmaps for heavy industries, designing heating and cooling systems for industrial and institutional sectors, and developing ESG roadmaps.
He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Anantapur, and a postgraduate degree in Thermal and Fluids Engineering from IIT Bombay. In his free time, he enjoys cooking, solving puzzles, and traveling.
