Bio

Jyoti Sharma is a Senior Program Associate at WRI India’s Energy Program where she works on industrial decarbonization, solarization of the agriculture sector and sustainable energy transformation.

Prior to WRI, Jyoti worked with Integrated Research and Action for Development (IRADe), The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) and Academic Institute. She has been worked in smart distribution system, policy, regulatory and market issues in distribution sector, distribution system operator, decarbonization strategies for power sector, State level strategic action for achieving NDC target, etc.

Jyoti holds M.Tech. in Renewable Energy from National Institute of Technology (NIT) Jaipur and B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering from Rajasthan Technical University.
