Ananya Singh is a Junior Program Associate at WRI India, working with the Climate Resilience Practice team. She supports research and planning support for localized climate adaptation planning, climate finance, and building community resilience.
Before joining WRI India, Ananya has had a short stint with Vasudha Foundation’s Climate Policy vertical, where she contributed to climate action planning at the Gram Panchayat level; and the Karta Initiative where she supported educational access for marginalized, rural youth across India.

She holds a Master’s in Sustainable Development Practice from the TERI School of Advanced Studies, where she received holistic training across various thematic areas, gained hands-on field experience and tested her research ideas. She also holds a research-oriented bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Shiv Nadar University, with a minor in English; which built her deep interest in social anthropology and cultural studies.

Beyond work, she enjoys photography, dancing and reading books.
