Alisha Abraham is a Senior Program Associate in WRI India’s Energy Program. She collaborates with subnational entities to advance energy efficiency through decarbonizing buildings and promoting sustainable cooling solutions.

Prior to joining WRI India, Alisha worked with Alliance for Energy Efficient Economy, focusing on data-driven research and policy analysis. She has experience related to energy benchmarking of commercial buildings, energy efficiency investments, and modeling energy and cooling demand utilizing insights from the ICAP.

Alisha holds a master’s degree in economics from the University of Hyderabad and is passionate about exploring the role of economics and people in shaping energy transitions. Beyond her professional pursuits, Alisha enjoys exploring newer destinations and is enthusiastic about learning novel skills, with swimming being her latest pursuit.
