Junior Program Associate - Urban Development

Bio

Mukti is a Junior Program Associate with the Cities team at WRI India and oversees Urban Development projects and city-based initiatives on the ground in the state of Odisha.

Mukti comes to WRI India with urban planning experience and knowledge about cities. Before joining WRI India, he was a Planning Intern at the Gangtok Smart City Development Limited, where he was instrumental in various urban design and infrastructural projects of the city. Mukti is a national-level quizzer and has travelled to various parts of the country to participate in and host quizzes. He also enjoys phone photography and exploring new food.

Mukti holds a Master’s Degree in Environmental Planning & Management from the School of Planning & Architecture, Vijayawada and a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from the Odisha University of Technology & Research.
