Launch of Energy Access Explorer, Mizoram

The Energy Access Explorer is the world’s first digital public good designed to advance climate-friendly energy access and support sustainable energy transitions. This interactive online platform compiles and analyzes multiple spatial datasets across development and electricity sectors.

By visualizing the energy access needs in the country, with a focus on unmet and under met institutional and social loads this platform will provide a comprehensive overview of the current state of play as well as establish benchmarks for future decision-making in the sector.

The launch will focus on visualizing the electricity and service delivery linkages across districts in Mizoram, offering an analysis of these indicators to assist users prioritize their target geographies and supply options.
