Land Accelerator South Asia: Impact Days 2022

The Land Accelerator South Asia, a WRI India initiative aims to inspire and support entrepreneurs working on sustainable and profitable business models to restore lands across South Asia. With funding support from IKEA Foundation and ecosystem support from Startup India, AGNIi, and Invest India, the Land Accelerator South Asia program has supported 46 restoration entrepreneurs this year. Cohort 2022 exemplifies immense potential for restoring our forests and farmlands with their unique business solutions.

WRI India and Sangam Ventures are co-organizing Land Accelerator South Asia: Impact Days 2022, which will include in-person workshops, networking, alumni meet and a hybrid demo day. The Demo Day provides a platform to entrepreneurs with live pitching opportunities of their businesses to a panel of distinguished South-Asian Impact Investors.

This year’s Demo Day is scheduled on 2nd November 2022 (Wednesday), during which top 15 finalists from cohort 2022 and 19 alumni entrepreneurs from cohorts 2020 and 2021 will be presenting their businesses to impact investors. The entrepreneurs will also display their products/solutions/innovations physically during the Demo Day. The feedback from investor community will enable these startups in refining their solutions and scaling up their business through new avenues of fundraising. This Demo Day will host an esteemed panel of investors including Upaya Social Ventures, Caspian Impact Investment, 3i Partners, Alsisar Impact, Ankur Capital Fund, Green Artha, Villgro Innovations Foundation, Vriksh Impact, Social Alpha, Acumen, Tata Trusts, Dovetail Impact Foundation, Theia Ventures and Avaana Capital. For more details, download Demo Day Agenda here.

Please note that only the Demo Day (scheduled on last day of the event i.e., 2nd November 2022) is open for online participation.
