Land Accelerator South Asia: Demo Day - 30 January 2024

The Land Accelerator South Asia is a unique initiative designed by WRI India to strengthen entrepreneurial opportunities, enhance local livelihoods and incomes, and protect and restore forests and farmlands. With funding support by Salesforce and ecosystem support by Startup India, the Land Accelerator South Asia program has nurtured 22 restoration entrepreneurs this year. Each member of 2023’s cohort brings with them a unique restoration-based business solution and a strong commitment to restore farms and forests for enabling a locally-led restoration economy.

WRI India and AIC Sangam are co-organizing the Land Accelerator South Asia: Demo Day, that serves as a platform for entrepreneurs to pitch their businesses live to a panel of distinguished Investors from across India. For the 2023 cohort, the Demo Day is scheduled on 30 January 2024, during which the top 15 finalists will be pitching their businesses to impact investors. The entrepreneurs will also display their products/solutions/innovations during the Demo Day. This is a hybrid event which can be joined by attendees through an online registration.

The Demo Day looks forward to these investors for increasing investment in land restoration, while also providing their valuable feedback to enable these startups in refining their solutions and scaling up their businesses through new avenues of fundraising. This Demo Day will host an esteemed panel of investors such as 3i Partners, Acumen, ALSiSAR, Caspian, CInI - Collectives for Integrated Livelihood Initiatives (Tata Trusts), Green Artha, Green Trunk Ventures, RevXcapital, TechnoServe, Upaya Social Ventures, Villgro and Vriksh Impact.
