Just Transition and Skill Development in the Electric Vehicle Industry

The publication reflects the views and highlights recommendations of the stakeholders (public and private) on the impact of the ongoing EV transition on the workforce of the automotive and transport industries and ways to ensure a just transition during a webinar conducted under Forum for Decarbonising Transport (part of NDC-Transport Initiative for Asia), led by NITI Aayog and WRI India. The proceedings also document key findings from the two sessions which were intended to initiate a dialogue around the central issues shaping a just transition and skill development in the EV industry.
