Ariadne Samios is an Active Mobility Coordinator at WRI Brasil Ross Center for Sustainable Cities. Ariadne works on projects related to encouraging active mobility and improving accessibility in Brazilian cities. She currently works with the Complete Streets concept, encouraging cities to adopt safer, sustainable and inclusive street models.

Prior to joining WRI Brasil, she lived in New Zealand, where she studied architecture at Unitec Institute of Technology as an exchange student with a grant from the government of Brazil.

Ariadne graduated from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS) with a degree in Architecture and Urban Planning, and she holds a Master's degree in Transport Engineering from the same university.
