Financing and Investment Ecosystem for Electric Rickshaws in India
Electric three-wheelers, particularly e-Rickshaws are leading the way for India’s EV revolution. The Indian e-rickshaw market is estimated to grow at a CAGR of 9% and will touch $5 billion by 2025. Access to affordable finance through innovative business models and financial products could accelerate e-Rickshaw adoption. To initiate a dialogue on strategies to optimize innovative financial tools and opportunities for e-rickshaws, WRI India and ClimateWorks Foundation is conducting a workshop titled Financing and Investment Ecosystem for Electric Rickshaws in India, on 7th September, 10 am onwards, at The Claridges, in New Delhi.
The workshop aims to explore a symbiotic relationship between finance and the electric vehicle industry growth. Experts from financing institutions, original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), operators and solution providers will discuss challenges and ideate solutions to accelerate financing options for e-rickshaws.
