Station Access and Mobility Program (STAMP) 2018

WRI India and the Toyota Mobility Foundation are launching the Station Access and Mobility Program (STAMP) in Hyderabad, Telangana on 9 June, 2018.

STAMP is a multi-city initiative that enables high quality first- and last-mile connectivity to urban mass transit networks, with a particular focus on metro rail systems. The program leverages innovation and entrepreneurship and promotes public private service integration for more shared and sustainable urban mobility. The STAMP approach is rooted in evidence-based action, with the process of identifying gaps in station access through passenger surveys and enabling innovative solutions with on-ground pilot operations.

In Hyderabad, STAMP is working with the Government of Telangana, the Hyderabad Metro Rail and the L&T Metro Rail Hyderabad to provide innovative mobility solutions for metro commuters. City partners for the program include IIIT-Hyderabad, TiE, Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and the Indian Green Building Council (IGBC).

At the launch even, the STAMP Challenge 2018 will be announced, for innovative solutions for last mile connectivity and multimodal integration.
