Visakha KA
Program Associate - Transport

Visakha KA is a Program Associate - Transport working with the Sustainable Cities and Transport Team at WRI India. She is currently part of the Infant Toddler and Caregiver friendly Neighborhoods project which is focused on building young children-oriented spaces and facilities in cities.
She has previously held positions in Gujarat Tourism Opportunities Limited, Gandhinagar and Cochin Smart City Limited, Kochi as consultant Urban Planner. She has been also part of the team working for creating master plan and policy for parking in Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai, as part of setting up of Mumbai Parking Authority.
Visakha holds a master’s in Urban and Regional Planning from Centre for Environmental Planning and Technology (CEPT), Ahmedabad specializing in Transport Planning. She also holds a bachelor’s in architecture from National Institute of Technology, Calicut.
Her academic interests are in Street Design and Qualitative Research. Her personal interests include music, dance and painting. She loves to spend time in appreciating and learning different artforms, engaging in deep and thoughtful conversations about life and its mysteries.
