Trinayana Kaushik is a Senior Program Associate with the Climate Economics and Finance Program at WRI India. Her current work focuses on subnational climate action, including developing a district-level greenhouse gas inventory for Assam and supporting the creation of a public-facing GHG dashboard to inform subnational climate action and policy.

Before joining WRI India, Trinayana worked as a life cycle assessment and GHG quantification professional, supporting both public and private stakeholders. She began her career at The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI), contributing to research-driven climate assessments, and later worked in the corporate sector on quantitative emissions analysis in the regenerative agriculture space.

Trinayana holds a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and a master’s degree in Climate Science and Policy from the University of Delhi and TERI School of Advanced Studies. Her academic training and work experience combine scientific rigor with policy-oriented analysis, shaping her approach to evidence-based climate decision-making and emissions accounting.

Originally from Assam, Trinayana currently resides in New Delhi. Outside work, she enjoys writing and is a daily yoga practitioner, with a deep interest in self-awareness,
