Tintu Sebastian is Program Manager with the Sustainable Cities and Transport team at WRI India. Here she assists in conducting the economic study for Delhi National Capital Region as well as with urban planning. She is also involved in managing and preparing relevant background information, data analysis, interpretations, study reports and presentations related to the work.

Prior to this, Tintu was associated with WRI as a consultant for seven years and worked on projects ranging from providing technical inputs to policy frameworks and vision document at the City, State and National level, to reviewing policy frameworks and state level planning acts. Tintu has over 12 years of experience in the field of urban planning and has also worked with the consulting firm Groupe SCE India Pvt ltd (now EGIS Geo Plan) in Bengaluru and with the Citizen Consumer and Civic Action Group, Chennai. In her work before, she has been involved in preparing regional plans, development plans, detailed project reports under JNNURM, feasibility study reports and technical bids for various projects.

Tintu holds a master’s in planning from School of Architecture and Planning, Anna University, Chennai and a bachelor’s in Civil Engineering from Kerala University.
