Tanvi Ajmera is a Legal Associate at WRI India, where she supports the organisation's legal function by reviewing grants, contracts and legal documentation, working closely with internal teams to support legal processes and the implementation of WRI India's initiatives.

Before joining WRI India, Tanvi worked across a climate technology startup and ESG consulting, supporting sustainability reporting, ESG data management, strategic partnerships and climate focused initiatives in India and globally.

Having grown up in the Philippines, her interest in environmental issues developed early and has since grown into a focus on climate justice and governance, ESG and sustainable development. She holds an LL.B. from the University of Edinburgh, an LL.M. in Environmental Law from Queen Mary University of London, and has completed an executive programme in Sustainability Reporting and ESG Data Management from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford.

Outside work, Tanvi enjoys listening to music, attending concerts, collecting vinyl records, travelling and discovering new cafés.
