Shweta Lamba
Program Manager - Food, Land and Water

Shweta Lamba is the Manager in Food, Land and Water program at WRI India. In this role, she is primarily focused on building more research and driving action to reduce food loss and food waste.
Before joining WRI India, she has worked at the grassroot level on implementation and evaluations of projects. In her consulting role, she has undertaken several research assignments on monitoring, impact evaluation, and project design. She has also worked with a non-government organization working on improving the last mile access to clean energy and building entrepreneurship among women.
Shweta holds a master’s degree in Forestry Management from the Indian Institute of Forest Management, and a Bachelor’s in Commerce from the University of Delhi. Beyond her professional pursuits, she is a former national table tennis player and enjoys reading non-fiction.
