Bio

Shreyas Joshi is Senior Program Associate - Communications with the Climate, Economics and Finance Program at WRI India. Beyond providing strategic communications support for the projects that the Climate, Economics and Finance Program is engaged with, he also assists with curation of social media content and, review and editing of blogs and articles.

Prior to joining WRI India, Shreyas worked as a Senior Specialist- Communications and Content at The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) where he provided communications support for TERI’s multi-stakeholder projects and supervised the management of the organization’s social media outreach and website content. At Lok Chetna Manch, he worked as a Documentation Officer to document first-person accounts on the ways in which organic farming and shifting to traditional crops helped improve the nutritional status of women and children in the mountainous regions of Almora district.

Shreyas holds a Masters degree in Literary Art Creative Writing from the School of Culture and Creative Expressions, Ambedkar University Delhi. He completed his Bachelors in English Honours from Ramjas College, Delhi University.

In his spare time, he enjoys watching crime documentaries, suspenseful thrillers, Formula 1, reading, and photography.

As the first light of dawn breaks over the farm, Ravi steps onto the field to the sight of solar panels glistening under the early morning sun. This is no ordinary farm; it is an agrivoltaics installation where the land is co-utilized for cultivating crops, raising livestock and harnessing solar energy.
