Junior Program Associate - Electric Mobility

Bio

Sandeep Das is a Junior Program Associate with the Electric Mobility team in the Sustainable Cities and Transport program at WRI India. Here he extensively engages with research and development, policy mechanism, spatial data analysis and prototype modelling works in the e-mobility sector.

Prior to Joining WRI India, Sandeep worked with development authorities on urban planning and urban design projects; revitalization of heritage streets, building by-laws review, land-value capture for airport terminal extension in Bhubaneswar. His major works have been on spatial planning of public charging infrastructure, assessment of charging demand of various metro cities, assessment of EV ecosystem supply chain and electrification of urban Freight.

Sandeep holds a Master of Planning specialization in Urban Transport Systems, from CEPT University, Ahmedabad, Gujarat and a Bachelor of Planning degree from College of Engineering and Technology, Bhubaneswar, Odisha.

In his free time, he prefers to watch football, MMA, play games and travel. Sandeep is an amateur guitarist and semi-pro photographer.
