Sai Malvankar is a Junior Program Associate with the Sustainable Cities and Transport program at WRI India. Based in Mumbai, she works on projects aimed at designing safer and more inclusive streets as part of the Bloomberg Philanthropies Initiative for Global Road Safety.

During her internship at IIHS Bengaluru, Sai contributed to research on the impacts of climate change on informal settlements. Previously, she worked at an architectural design firm, where she was involved in residential, institutional, and interior design projects.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from Sir J. J. College of Architecture and a Master’s in Urban Design from CEPT University, Ahmedabad.

In her free time, Sai enjoys watching movies, painting, listening to music, and reading fiction.
