Rajat is a Program Manager, Food Land and Water at WRI India. Passionate about sustainability, he has dedicated his career to promoting sustainable farming. Rajat invests his time with policymakers to emphasize the long-term importance of sustainable agriculture. He has been long associated with agriculture and is working on promoting and implementing a plan for sustainable farming in Madhya Pradesh (MP).

Before joining WRI India, Rajat was a consultant for the State Policy and Planning Commission in Madhya Pradesh. In this role, he collaborated with the Agriculture Department and the Government of MP, playing a pivotal role in initiatives related to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and the Atmanirbhar MP program.

Rajat holds a master’s degree in management focusing on marketing and finance and is pursuing a PhD in Public-Private Partnerships. His research is centered on the agriculture sector. Rajat dedicates his time to engaging in social welfare activities as a hobby.
