Pursungit is a social work professional currently working as a Program Associate Energy with WRI India, supporting efforts to improve access to affordable and sustainable energy in the state of Nagaland. He holds a Master’s degree in Social Work, with a specialization in Youth and Community Development, from the Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Youth Development, Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Pursungit’s professional background includes working as a Social Development Specialist with the PMAY-Urban Mission, Government of Nagaland. Additionally, he has managed projects with the Community based organizations in the State, focusing on grassroots engagement and development.

Pursungit is actively involved in initiatives aimed at equitable resource distribution and protecting vulnerable populations. He further emphasizes his commitment to uplifting underprivileged communities. Beyond the workplace, he loves travelling and fishing.
