Pravin Cherukuthota
Program Associate - Electric Mobility

Pravin Cherukuthota is a Program Associate, Electric Mobility with the Sustainable Cities and Transport program at WRI India. Based out of Mumbai, he works on projects related to electric mobility and sustainable mobility. He is currently involved in the development of an index to measure progress in e-mobility across states and an impact assessment framework for e-mobility enterprises.
Pravin comes to WRI India with a background in public policy research with internships at policy think tanks like the Ola Mobility Institute (OMI) and the Observer Research Foundation (ORF). During his internship at OMI, he had developed a research report on the regulatory challenges that intermediate public transit systems face in India.
Pravin holds a Master’s in Public Policy from the National Law School of India University (NLSIU) with his final-year dissertation analyzing the policies that govern urban mobility in Bengaluru. He also holds a bachelor’s in Media & Communication from Manipal University. His areas of interest are urban mobility, transportation research and policymaking.
Pravin is deeply passionate about sports, with a keen interest in Cricket and Formula 1. Pravin likes to spend his free time reading non-fiction books or exploring new places.
