Prajakta is a Senior Program Associate with the Food, Land and Water team at WRI India. She works on initiatives focused on reducing food loss and waste, promoting sustainable resource management, and engaging diverse stakeholders to create more efficient and resilient systems.

Prajakta brings over nine years of experience across the infrastructure development and government sectors, with expertise in urban development, township projects, heritage, real estate, information, education and communication, and capacity building. Before joining WRI India, she worked with Ernst & Young (EY) and also gained experience with organisations such as CDSA and PwC India.

Prajakta holds a bachelor’s degree in Architecture and a master’s degree in Urban Management. Her academic and professional experience has shaped her interest in developing actionable strategies, building institutional capacity, and advancing sustainable solutions.

Outside of work, Prajakta enjoys dancing, travelling, exploring new places, and spending time with family and friends.
