Bio

Nileena is a member of the Geo-Analytics team in the Sustainable Cities and Transport program at WRI India. As a visual designer, she collaborates with the data-analytics and communications teams to create infographics, reports, data charts, analytical storyboards and other creatives.

Before joining WRI India, Nileena worked with various organizations and individuals to help them design brand identities, editorials, websites, print and digital extensions. Being a multi-disciplinary designer, she is drawn towards getting a deeper insight into how one reacts to their environment through visual means.

Nileena is formally educated in the field of architecture from the College of Engineering, Trivandrum and holds a master’s in Theory and Design from CEPT University, Ahmedabad. Working on various visual experiments led her to explore the aspects of socio-cultural, urban, and critical design.

She is very passionate about design and believes in creating long-term positive changes through visual medium. During her free time she loves travelling, and capturing memories through photographs.
