Nikita Pal
Program Associate - Sustainable Cities & Transport

Nikita Pal is a Program Associate - Transport with the Sustainable Cities and Transport program at WRI India. She works on the infant, toddler and caregivers friendly urban mobility. Her work focuses on developing state and city level mobility policy and plan. She engages in on-field technical activities, conducting capacity building workshops, creating research and communication products, and training for government officials.
Nikita comes to WRI India with experience in the fields of Urban Design, Urban Planning and Architecture. She has worked as an architect with Matai Associates on architectural projects and as a designer on lake development projects with Vadodara municipal corporation in Vadodara. After that she worked as an Assistant Professor at SVIT, Gujarat University.
Nikita holds a Master’s in Planning (Urban Design) degree from CEPT University, and B. Arch degree from SVIT College of Architecture, Gujarat University.
She is enthusiastic about urban life up-gradation with a user-centric design approach. The larger goal is to contribute towards creating positive urban life and environment. She is a wildlife enthusiast, an ardent reader, traveler, and videographer.
