Nanduri Prashanti is the Senior Program Research Associate - Sustainable Cities and Transport at WRI India. Based out of Bengaluru, Nanduri works on the C40 Climate Action Plan (CAP) for Bengaluru city.

Nanduri has over five years of professional experience in various domains of sustainable and environmental planning. Before WRI India, she worked as Environmental Planner at Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) where she prepared the implementation strategy for wastewater management and the Environmental Management Plan, a revenue optimisation model for an Eco-park proposal, both in Hyderabad city. She even worked with Gujarat Metro Rail Corporation (GMRC), on Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement, Social Impact Assessment and Environmental Impact Assessment in close coordination with Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).

Nanduri holds a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from CSIIT affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Architectural and Fine Art University (JNAFAU), Hyderabad, and a Master’s degree in Planning with a focus on Environmental Planning from the CEPT University, Ahmedabad.

In her free time, Nanduri volunteers at YHonk and practices spiritual meditation.
