Mani Bhushan Jha
Program Manager - Climate
Mani is a Program Manager for the Climate Program at WRI India. Working in the realms of climate policy and governance, he supports the work with subnational entities in preparing evidence based long term climate strategies, designing capacity building initiatives, and establishing institutional mechanism for implementing climate action. He has worked in Bihar to develop the climate resilient and low carbon development pathways. He also supports our work to conduct training programs for decision makers and relevant key stakeholders on climate change readiness, and climate finance. Beyond the subnational work, he also supports the policy engagement and stakeholder management work at WRI India.
He has previously worked with Confederation of Indian Industries, and Public Policy Research Centre in New Delhi. He has also worked with CDU Fraktion in the Berlin Parliament, and with a few Members of Parliament in India.
Mani has completed his Master’s in Public Policy from Willy Brandt School of Public Policy, Germany with a specialization in Public, Non-Profit Management, and International Political Economy. He has done his bachelor's in law from Amity Law School, Delhi.
Mani is from Madhubani, Bihar. He loves travelling, reading, and volunteering.
