Kshitija Pendharkar
Senior Program Associate - Sustainable Cities & Transport

Kshitija Pendharkar is a Senior Program Associate - Transport with the Sustainable Cities and Transport program at WRI India. She works on the Accelerator for Clean Air Actions (ACAAS) Program. As part of the project, she looks after the interventions to support to Mumbai city and region aiming to mitigate air pollution.
Previous to joining ACAAS program, she supported Indore and Jabalpur cities towards mainstreaming young children and caregiver centric city planning approach as part of the Nurturing Neighbourhoods Challenge.
Kshitija comes to WRI India with experience in the fields of Urban Design, Urban Planning and Architecture. She worked in capacity of Assistant Manager with Gujarat International Finance Tec-City Company Ltd. (GIFTCL). Before that she worked as an assistant architect with Aakar Abhinav Consultants Pvt. Ltd., where she worked on architectural projects.
Kshitija holds an M.Plan (Urban Design) degree from CEPT University, Ahmedabad and B.Arch degree from Bharatividyapeeth College of Architecture, Mumbai University.
A motivated individual, Kshitija is willing to contribute to make cities child friendly and sustainable. She is a trained and an awarded Indian classical and western freestyle dancer, actor, singer and badminton player.
