Kaustubh Chuke works as a Senior Manager with the Sustainable Cities and Transport program at WRI India. Based out of Mumbai, he works towards developing strategies for effective adoption of data driven decision making in Indian cities to improve efficiency of urban governance and public transportation systems.

Kaustubh has more than eight years of professional experience enriched with working on diverse projects in the field of transportation planning that include planning of multimodal hubs, public transit optimization, design of intelligent transportation systems, preparation of smart city and road masterplans. He has expertise in intelligent transportation systems and is interested to drive innovations in urban mobility with the help of technology and big data.

Kaustubh holds a bachelor’s in Civil Engineering from Government College of Engineering, Amravati and a master’s in Transportation Engineering from IIT Kharagpur. He also holds a professional certificate in Data Science from IBM.

In his free time, Kaustubh can be found experimenting new forms of photography and exploring lesser-known destinations. He is an avid reader and enjoys adventure sports.
