Himanshi Kapoor
Program Associate - Urban Development

Himanshi Kapoor is a Program Associate with the Urban Development team at the Sustainable Cities and Transport program at WRI, India. She works at the intersection of urban planning and climate change. Her portfolio consists of projects under the ClimateSmart Cities initiative and others related to Land Value Capture, Livable Neighborhoods and Transit Oriented Development.
Prior to joining WRI India, she worked as a Project Architect in an architecture and interior design firm in Delhi.
Himanshi holds a master’s in Urban and Regional Planning from CEPT University, Ahmedabad and a bachelor’s from MBS School of Planning and Architecture, Delhi. She has also completed several certificate courses on managing cities.
In her free time, Himanshi enjoys making graffiti sketches, cooking and playing with her dog. She also enjoys cycling and believes it keeps her heart happy.
