David Rajbangshi is a Program Manager with the Climate, Economics and Finance program at WRI India, where he focuses on advancing sub national climate action in Assam.

With over 11 years of experience, David has worked with organizations such as UNICEF, Tata Trusts, and KPMG, contributing to projects on solid and liquid waste management in rural and urban contexts, rural sanitation, and drinking water across Northeast India. His work has involved supporting governments and development partners in project planning, implementation, and monitoring, with a strong focus on on ground impact.

David holds an MBA in Finance and Marketing from Tezpur University and a bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from Assam Engineering College.

Outside of work, David is an auto enthusiast, an avid traveller, and enjoys watching football.
