Chaitali Patil is the Program Communications Associate at WRI India, where she handles communications and outreach efforts for for the Nurturing Neighbourhoods Challenge, which is part of the Liveable Neighbourhoods practice area. She extracts compelling stories and creates impactful narratives from the Nurturing Neighbourhoods Challenge, ensuring wide-reaching engagement.
Chaitali comes to WRI with an experience in architecture, urban design, and architectural conservation, writing and research. She has previously contributed to various urban design projects at Kimaya Architects, focusing on developing open spaces as vibrant recreational public areas in the PCMC region. Additionally, she served as the Content and Project Coordinator for the Pune Cultural Mapping project by Sahapedia, mapping three thousand different points of interest in Pune through a heritage lens, which were published on sahapedia.org. Chaitali's passion for design, documentation, and research has naturally drawn her to the field of communications.
Chaitali holds a Masters in Architecture from the Centre for Environmental Planning and Technology, Ahmedabad, and a Bachelors in Architecture from Dr. B.N.College of Architecture, Pune.
During her free time, Chaitali enjoys exploring lesser-known destinations that possess rich cultural, natural, and architectural heritage.
