Bhavana Varma

Junior Program Associate

Bio

Bhavana is a project management associate with the India Energy program. Her work includes supporting the Program Director and Project Managers on coordinating project activities, support tracking of project deliverables in correspondence with financials, contributing to program planning, preparing and maintaining documentation for all projects, and supporting coordination and communication with donors and partners.

Prior to WRI, she worked as an intern at a Pune based NGO.

She graduated with an honors degree in commerce from Symbiosis College, Pune. She is also a semi-qualified Certified Management Accountant (CMA) and a professional member of Institute of Management Accountants (IMA).

Bhavana spends her time painting portraits and reading fiction. She also loves crocheting, singing, and trying out different musical instruments.
