Bettina Cherian is a Senior Program Associate - Executive Assistant to the Executive Director with WRI India’s Energy Program. She provides high-level administrative support to the Executive Director, managing calendars, handling correspondence, organizing travel arrangements, preparing reports, and maintaining records.

Bettina previously served as Operations Manager at Springer Nature, a global publishing company, where she supported the Managing Director as an Executive Assistant and contributed to outreach initiatives. She has also worked with Invest India where she served as the Key Relationship Manager for investments in several Indian states.

Bettina is a lawyer by training and holds diplomas in cyber, human rights, and business law. She has a Bachelor of Laws in Socio-Legal Studies from the Indian Law Society’s Law College in Pune and a Master of Laws, specializing in Intellectual Property Right, from Amity University.

Outside of work, Bettina enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, watching movies, and listening to music from around the world.
