Ashutosh Ojha
Senior Program Associate – Sustainable Cities & Transport
Ashutosh Ojha is a Senior Program Associate with the Integrated Transport team under the Sustainable Cities and Transport program at WRI India. He focuses on advancing sustainable urban mobility, particularly public transport electrification and integrated transport solutions. Ashutosh has worked in Bihar to develop climate-resilient and low-carbon development pathways, with an emphasis on decarbonization strategies for the transport sector. He collaborates with central ministries, state transport undertakings, and transit agencies, providing technical support for initiatives such as the PM eBus Sewa Scheme and PM E-DRIVE.
Before joining WRI India, Ashutosh gained experience in architectural design and urban mobility planning. His expertise lies in public transport planning, policy development, and urban infrastructure enhancement.
He holds a Master’s in Transport Planning from the School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi, and a Bachelor’s in Architecture from Punjab Technical University.
Originally from Hajipur, Bihar, Ashutosh enjoys traveling, gardening, and exploring art, food, and new experiences.
