Ambar Singh is a Junior Program Associate in the Climate, Economics and Finance Program at WRI India, where he works on strengthening the climate resilience of micro, small and medium enterprises, building capacity for decarbonization, and supporting a just transition through skilling and access to social protection schemes.

Before joining WRI India, Ambar worked as a consultant at the National Disaster Management Authority, where he contributed to profile evaluations and quality assessments.

Ambar holds a master’s degree in Regulatory Policy and Governance from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai, and a bachelor’s degree in Physics from the Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda. His master’s dissertation examined the impact of the Emissions Trading Scheme on technology shifts and industrial responses in the textile sector in Surat, Gujarat.
