Sai Dinesh is a Program Associate with the Climate Economics and Finance team at WRI India, where he supports sub-national climate action planning. He contributes to the Advanced Scenarios and Carbon Emissions Navigation Tool (ASCENT) and works with the state government of Assam to help develop GHG inventories and pathways for low-carbon development.

Dinesh has an interdisciplinary background spanning climate policy, environmental research, and engineering. Prior to joining WRI India, he worked as a Research Associate at TERI, where he focused on climate mitigation, industrial decarbonization, and climate finance assessments.

Dinesh holds an M.A. in Public Policy and a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering. His academic training and experiences have shaped his interests in low-carbon development, climate finance, international climate negotiations and MEL.
