Shounak Krishnanand is the Director of Technology Products, where he leads the development of technology products across WRI India’s programs. He is responsible for shaping product strategy, developing roadmaps, and engaging with leaders and stakeholders both within and outside the organization to advance WRI India’s goals. Shounak brings extensive experience in civil and environmental engineering, product management, and business leadership.

Prior to joining WRI India, he worked in the United States as a Water Resources Engineer on large infrastructure projects, including interstate highways and metro systems. He also served as a Product Leader at Amazon, where he worked across payments technology, telecommunications, and fulfillment channels.

Shounak holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Civil Engineering from the University of Mumbai. He also earned an MBA from the University of Washington, Seattle.

Outside of work, Shounak enjoys reading, hiking, traveling, and exploring music. He is also an avid dog lover and has rescued two indie dogs.
