Stakeholder consultation workshop on Developing a City Action Plan for Net Zero Carbon and Resilient Buildings(NZCRB) for Thiruvananthapuram City

WRI India is partnering with Thiruvananthapuram Municipal Corporation (TMC) to develop an action plan to Net Zero Carbon and Resilient Buildings (NZCRBs) for Thiruvananthapuram city. In this regard, TMC and WRI India are organizing a stakeholder consultation workshop on 22-10-2024 at from 10:00 am to 1:30 pm at Thiruvananthapuram (Venue to be decided) to discuss the project activities and expected outcomes with all stakeholders.

The objective of the stakeholder consultation workshop is to communicate TMC’s commitment to transitioning all buildings in Thiruvananthapuram city to NZCRBs. This event aims to bring together a diverse array of stakeholders crucial for formulating the NZCRB action plan. Key goals include defining the NZCRB scope, identifying priority building typologies, and initiating discussions on project tasks and activities. The workshop will also address the development and implementation of action plan development. Furthermore, it seeks to foster a shared body of knowledge among stakeholders with varying technical expertise levels. Lastly, the workshop intends to identify potential partners interested in contributing to the city's realization of the NZCRB vision.
